ADDRESSING ACCESSIBILITY, An Aesthetic Solution for Address Marker Visibility by Joseph Donovan

In today's digital landscape, address markers are often overlooked until they prove elusive or illegible; especially affecting those with visual impairments. To address this, I've developed a process to produce tiles with a visibility-forward typeface, illuminated at night by glowing glaze. Inspired by New Orleans street tiles, ceramic provides personalization options and longevity via weather resistance. My approach aims to consider a range of needs, merging accessibility and aesthetics.
