GARÍFUNA, The Sounds of Resistance by Claudia Portillo
Garífuna is an analog-interactive installation, inspired byGarífuna art, where the user will be able to explore the sounds and sights through touch and hearing, making it possible to have a look at the problems faced by one of the richest indigenous groups in culture who reside in coastal areas inHonduras. TheGarífunainstallation seeks to give visibility and space for appreciation to a culture that has its own language,traditions, music, and history within the country of Honduras that have had great influence on the country's culture.
