JESSICA PETERSON

Jessica Peterson runs The Southern Letterpress in New Orleans. Born and raised in Rochester, NY, she moved to the South in 2006 to immerse herself in letterpress printing (and escape winter). She studied printing while earning a MFA in Book Arts at the University of Alabama, and then as a resident artist of the town of Gordo, Alabama, under the mentorship of Glenn House, Sr. and Kathy Fetters. She holds a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (1999) and a MFA from the Book Arts Program at University of Alabama (2009). Website
