PLAYLIST PANIC, A Music-Themed Card Game by Jhett McAdams

It can be difficult to find a board game that is complex enough to be interesting, but simple enough to easily learn, especially if each player has different levels of experience with tabletop games. Therefore, my intent is to create a tabletop game which has a “semi-modular ruleset”, meaning that players can choose how complicated they want the rules to be by picking from a few variations which all involve the same core game play. Every player is competing to see who can create the best playlist. In the most basic version, players draw and trade cards into their hand, connect cards with the same colored edge together, and must get matching symbols to score points.
