VOXELLE, An Exhibit and Zine for Women in Art by Emma Porterfield

The simple word "forgotten" is synonymous in almost every exhibit or museum opening featuring the artworks of women artists. The words ``forgotten", "overlooked", and "lost'' are synonymous with women's art history and the recent push to amplify women in the art and museum scene. Voxelle seeks to create awareness and amplify the stories of women and their art that will never be forgotten. Through a series of six women, VoxElle is a rotating exhibit and zine that seeks to routinely educate the public on powerful women artists, changing the narrative and education of current art museums, galleries, and spaces.
